Do Space is a digital library that wants to put technology in everyone’s hands free of charge. That is an ambitious goal that could be intimidating for visitors so we created a welcoming experience that is easy and accessible to start each visit with a victory. H4>
BACKGROUND
Located in the heart of Omaha, Do Space is a radical new project of the Public Library. It is also a 26,000-square-foot, two-story building full of technology and resources available for free throughout the city. Inside, you will find huge computer labs, conference rooms, 3D printers, laser cutters, classes and spaces aimed at children, teenagers and seniors. Do Space is committed to nurturing the entrepreneurial class of Omaha, as well as to increasing that class by providing the same cutting-edge technologies to marginalized communities in the city.
